State Legislative Webquest

Use these websites to answer the following questions. Submit your answers in a word document.

1. Identify your representatives' names and political party in both the House of Delegates and the state Senate. 

2. How long have your representatives served? Years and # of terms?

3. Name and briefly describe two pieces of legislation each of your representatives has sponsored in the last session of the assembly.

4. Navigate to your reps websites and look for their policy positions on current issues facing Virginia and evaluate those positions relative to your own policy position. Would you vote for your representative? How well do you think your representatives' views reflect the district they represent?
